Bio
Sunnie Haeger, also known as Stephani, is a cross-genre singer-songwriter from Denver, Colorado. After years of following different paths in the entertainment industry, from a try at acting in LA, to musical theatre and show bands in Las Vegas, she has settled back down in her home state where she is happiest writing and performing her own songs. From a love of country to r&b and soulful pop, Sunnie's powerful vocals convey the emotions of her lifelong journeys. She currently resides in Denver where she fills her heart and days teaching music to children, hosts open mic for upcoming local talent, and writes and performs her original songs in local venues. Her true passion is songwriting, influenced by her life experiences. Sunnie's music can be heard on various internet radio stations including Spotify and Radio Airplay, and she has also been included in several podcasts including Woman of Substance and Colorado's Indie Americana Songwriter show. Her favorite radio spot was a few years back at JC Penney, where her mother heard one of Sunnie's songs while she was shopping. Sunnie has 2 albums of original music: Falling Down, a collaboration with her former songwriting partner, recorded in Boulder, CO, and Pieces in the Dark, a solo project recorded in Escondido, CA.
A note from Sunnie.......
" .....sometimes in the pulsing warmth of the sun… sometimes in the cooling shade of the clouds. We laugh and cry and try with all our beings to transcend the little nags and crags and jagged untruths that dye our world blue and darken our lens of perception. Yet when the notes of a song start their journey from the first brush of fingers on brass and wood—or the lightest touch of magic on the ivory keys… the beauty of baring the soul opens a page for a fresh start. Music reveals… it heals… and then in it’s highest moments it creates… transforming our hearts into beautiful places to hold the magic of love. "
My songs are letters to you. I cherished writing and singing them. If they reach someplace real, someplace important in your world… then I hope you share them and take care of them… and I would love to hear how the thoughts and feelings have affected your world. Together, let’s write more songs and note by note let the sun shine brighter on our precious world.
